Dr. Peter Schaffer was born in Brooklyn, NY. His collegiate years were spent as a Towson Tiger of Towson State University in Maryland. After deciding to pursue a career in podiatry, he attended the NY College of Podiatric Medicine, receiving his DPM degree, before becoming board certified in surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Peter Schaffer has over 40 years of experience providing excellent foot care for patients in metro Detroit. He is a Beaumont and DMC physician, performing all surgeries at Detroit Medical Center locations.
